Autumn Tansey is a conceptual artist with a background in lens-based media, scenography and installation. Since completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photo-media from Monash University in 2010, she has exhibited extensively across Melbourne in numerous exhibitions and events. Autumn explores complex social and political issues throughout her practice, most-often with overarching environmental themes.
Autumn commenced the 2020 Winter Artist-In-Residence program mid-June and was mentored by Keith Deverell. Autumn is developing a work for GSPF 2021 based on the decommissioning of power stations in Australia and the rehabilitation of their sites.
