Amanda Morgan is a visual artist who makes Street Art, Public Art and Site-Specific Installations. Practising since 1988, she has produced over sixty public large scale works for local and national institutions and has exhibited over one hundred video works and contributed to over seventy curated group exhibitions and projections internationally.
As a curator she produced several digital media projects, including a television series on video art for Chanel 31. Amanda was a founding member and selection committee member of Conical inc. ARI. She has a BFA, Honours (RMIT), a GDipEd (University of Melbourne), and a Master of Fine Art by Research (Victorian College of the Arts) in 2001.
Amanda has mentored others in the field including remote communities in the Western Australian desert and lectured and tutored in Projection and Installation at the Victorian College of the Arts, Deakin University, NMIT, RMIT, Swinburne, Victoria University, and the faculty of Architecture at Melbourne University. Amanda’s work features in numerous local and international collections. Her work has won several awards and she has received extensive public commissions.
